My World
My husband, Joel, and I have three beautiful children. We have been married for almost 19 years and I love him more today than ever. Our kids are growing up fast and we have a lot of fun getting them where they need to go and watching them do all the things they love.
I joke that in this season of life, I basically live in my car!
We love to camp, hike, explore and fish. Anything outdoors! In the summer you'll find us at the ball fields or working in our garden. We love to have fresh vegetables and we have a lot of fun canning and preserving what we grow together. When we can sit down at the dinner table and say that everything on our plates was either hunted, fished or grown by us, it just seems to taste better!
Education & Background
I’m ABBI, the owner of Abbi Triphan Photography and I love what I do. I'm an Iowa girl, born and raised. I grew up in the small town of Camanche and graduated in 2001. I attended the University of Dubuque and graduated with a bachelor's degree in Computer Graphics and Interactive Media in 2005. I was a graphic designer for a couple years and then I began my photography journey in 2008 and went full-time in 2010.
I am based out of Dubuque, IA, and have been in business for over 18 years. When I say you can trust me, I mean it. I have seen it all and am prepared to handle anything! I know it can be stressful at times to have photos taken, but I'm here to change that for you. I will help you find what to wear so all you have to do is show up. I'll corral everyone and keep things moving and fun. You just show up and I'll take care of the rest!
